By now, Galaidin has doffed his armor and has tried to dry the remainder of his clothes.
As he sets his armor on the sandy beach, he looks out to sea, giving himself a better glance as to what's out there. As he is looking, there is a Human figure floating in the water, not looking as if he has any health flowing through his body.
"By the graces, what has been going on?"
With that Galaidin rushes to the limp figure just floating. He brings the figure back onto the beach and proceeds to give him the life that was taken.
After a few long moments of trying to restore this poor man's life, he is forced to give up. It's the first body that could be counted as a dead today.
As you are preparing a grave, using just his hands, he tries to save what dignity and respect can be salvaged...only by doing the right thing.
Galaidin, having done a deed in good favor with Tyr, looks for any other signs of death surrounding the Island. There seems to be a building on a sandbar still ablaze from the night before.
"Thanan, come look at this. That building is still ablaze, could that have been how we arrived here. Should we investigate? There may be more survivors, but the only we can be sure is by investigating the situation."

Frustrated at his failure to glean any insight into the chain, Thanan moves over to the body and begins searching it for anything useful or anything that would give a hint to her identity. lprOyws9 (+1 Perception Check). Thanan also takes the opportunity to inspect the body and search his memory for any information on a creature of this nature he might have absorbed during his time at the Temple of Hades. (+3 Religion check). ยท

You can tell she has been dead for several hours.
Something about the tunic she is wearing pricks at your memories from childhood.
Something scary.. something whispered about..

Thanan stands up, gathers his supplies, and gestures for you to take the lead, as he's not so keen on giving up his back. He sizes up Galaiden to be an honest men, but Thanan had been fooled by "Honest men" before.
"Let's be off then."
'I have a feeling I'll be delivering my Lord some new subjects before the day is done.' Thanan thinks to himself.

The bay is deep but the boat you took shelter under is still sound. It would not take to long to paddle out to the derelict. Maybe you will find some answers there.

Before she's buried, I would like to cut out the insignia on the tunic, for later reference. I will secret it on my person.
I will also try to spend some time as the hole is being dug trying to memorise her face. "Pretty, in an exotic way." says Delbin.
I will also try for a perception check. (apologies I'm on my phone and away from home at a wedding, so no character sheet with me and I can't see the roller on my phone - any chance you could help me out with a roll this time Neil?)
I'll play a little ditty on my aulos, something upbeat to lift our spirits. We'll lads, I'll be frank, at this point I've narrowed it down to one of four dread Lords who may want us all dead. Until I've got more information I'm going to need some muscle for protection while I'm drinking my way to the answer. Who's for a look over there?"

Galaidin, having buried the young lady, has no time to get comfortable. He dons his armor and gets ready for any reason to be ready. With the party, now in somewhat better spirits thanks to Delbin, has an area to explore.
Off on the sandbar, Galaidin starts making his way towards the Slave Galley that was burning when we woke up.

You see that something seems to be bothering Derik, but chalk it up to the memory loss and the strange situation.
as you work your way to the derelict ship you see more survivors, but they appear to be trapped in a cage. You also see 3 more of the strangely deformed humanoids but these appear to be alive, angry and about to attack!

Thanan sees the creatures and readies his Rod. A grin washes over his face and his pupils go black as sparks of Black arcane energy begins to crackle from his hands.

The look much like the dead woman you burried earlier, just less feminine.
As you dash toward the back one raises a serrated dagger into the air as black motes of nothingness seem to gather around the blade

How do I deal with the dice button to roll d8s? Sorry, still finding my way with forum play.
